Managing Consultant – Services Business Development

About the role

Mastercard Services is looking for a Managing Consultant to drive its Services Business Development. You will work on the frontlines of sales, generating demand for cutting‑edge payments consulting, loyalty, data platforms and cyber‑security solutions while partnering with solution experts to deliver value to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify client pain points, root causes and propose tailored solutions.
• Own the sales process from prospecting through persuasive proposal writing.
• Manage end‑to‑end contract execution, coordinating with legal and finance teams.
• Collaborate with Mastercard account managers and clients to uncover new business opportunities.
• Build effective relationships across client management levels and understand organisational systems.
• Ensure alignment among Mastercard stakeholders and manage cross‑functional dependencies.
• Partner with project teams to guarantee high‑quality delivery.
• Contribute to Intellectual Capital through Special Interest Groups.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree (required); MBA or relevant postgraduate degree (beneficial).
• 6+ years of consulting experience, preferably with a top‑tier or niche consultancy focused on financial services strategy.
• Proven track record leading end‑to‑end consulting projects and designing winning proposals.
• Experience thriving in fast‑paced environments with a strong “can‑do” attitude.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, analytical and collaborative skills.
