Managing Director – Boutique Wealth Management (Tech-Led)

About the role

This is a senior leadership position with a rapidly scaling boutique wealth management firm that has rebuilt its operations around cutting‑edge AI and modern WealthTech platforms. The Managing Director will steer the firm’s growth, M&A activity and technology adoption while preserving its people‑first culture.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the firm’s scale‑up and M&A strategy, from target identification to post‑deal integration.
• Lead operational and compliance functions, ensuring FCA‑aligned, scalable processes.
• Champion the existing tech stack (Ningi and Fundment) to maximise efficiency and drive bionic advice delivery.
• Mentor and develop a high‑performing team of IFAs and support staff, fostering a culture of kindness and high performance.

Required profile

• Extensive experience as an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) with deep credibility among advisory teams.
• Strong operational and compliance background within the wealth management sector.
• Proven track record of leading wealth‑management M&A, including due diligence and cultural/technology integration.
• Demonstrated ability to lead with humility, kindness and empathy.
