Managing Director, Securities Finance Technology

About the role

Citi is seeking a Managing Director to lead its Securities Finance Technology division in London. The role drives strategy, development, and transformation of Agency Lending and Collateral platforms, guiding a global team toward modern, data‑enabled solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a technology roadmap aligned with business goals and industry trends.
• Lead global engineers, architects, and project managers, championing microservices, cloud‑native, and event‑driven design.
• Oversee end‑to‑end software development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of features and projects.
• Implement Agile and DevOps best practices to improve velocity and quality.
• Develop a data strategy, building pipelines, data lakes, and analytics capabilities for real‑time reporting and BI.
• Manage stakeholder relationships across business, product, and infrastructure teams.
