Managing Director – Technology PR & Venture Capital (UK)

About the role

This 12‑month Fixed‑Term Contract is for a Managing Director leading a boutique technology communications consultancy in London. You will act as a senior advisor to C‑suite executives, founders and investors, helping high‑growth tech companies and venture capital firms shape their brands, tell their stories and drive commercial growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the London office, ensuring delivery of high‑impact PR and communications programmes.
• Advise C‑suite leaders, founders and investors on brand strategy, campaign execution and growth initiatives.
• Drive new‑business development and support European expansion goals.
• Collaborate with European leadership and specialist teams across corporate, B2B, B2C and venture‑capital projects.
• Develop and mentor the London team, fostering talent and a high‑performing culture.
• Oversee crisis communications, valuation‑raising programmes and other strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience within technology or tech‑adjacent sectors, either agency‑side or in‑house.
• Demonstrated ability to advise venture‑capital, private‑equity‑backed or high‑growth technology businesses.
• Strong commercial acumen, comfortable in boardrooms and capable of winning new business.
• Willingness to travel quarterly across Europe and start in late March/early April.
