About the role
We are seeking a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join our regional construction team in Central London. You will provide commercial support across a portfolio of private‑sector projects, ensuring financial compliance and helping the project teams achieve their objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Advise on the financial feasibility of projects during early stages.
- Assess returns from sub‑contractors and award work packages.
- Monitor and measure actual expenditure against budgeted figures using Cost Value Reconciliation Reports.
- Manage team workloads, performance and mentor junior staff.
- Collect and collate commercial information from the project team.
Required profile
- Experience working on large two‑stage bids.
- Prior experience within a Tier 1 main contracting environment.
- Confidence in dealing with client representatives, sub‑contractors and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to manage and mentor junior staff.
- Private‑sector experience preferred.
