Mandarin speaking FI Relationship Manager

About the role

Our client, a leading corporate bank in Central London, is seeking a Mandarin‑speaking Financial Institution (FI) Relationship Manager. The role combines client relationship management with deep credit analysis and loan structuring expertise, focusing on syndicated and bilateral loan transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the department head in managing and expanding relationships with corporate and non‑banking clients.
• Prepare and present detailed credit analyses for loan proposals, including cash‑flow, debt capacity and covenant compliance.
• Draft high‑quality loan applications and ensure they meet the Bank’s risk appetite and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with origination, credit risk and legal teams to structure loan facilities and negotiate terms.
• Provide expert guidance on Loan Market Association (LMA) documentation and stay current with market practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Credit Analyst or Relationship Manager within wholesale banking.
• Strong knowledge of the loan market, especially syndicated and bilateral facilities.
• Fluent Mandarin with the ability to communicate effectively with Mandarin‑speaking clients.
