Mandarin Speaking Fixed Income Portfolio Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Mandarin‑speaking Fixed Income Portfolio Manager to join our London office. The successful candidate will lead the bond investment strategy for our branch, ensuring portfolio performance aligns with targets.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate and dynamically manage the branch’s bond investment strategy.
• Conduct market analysis, research, and provide regular portfolio updates and reports.
• Identify new issue opportunities and produce comprehensive credit reports.
• Monitor the portfolio’s credit quality and fulfil post‑investment responsibilities.
• Support the department head with ad‑hoc activities as required.

Required profile

• Solid experience in bond investment and portfolio management.
• Hands‑on proficiency with analytical tools and professional trading applications.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics or a related quantitative field.
• Strong quantitative and mathematical focus.
• Goal‑oriented and flexible for potential job rotation.
• Excellent formal business writing skills.
