Mandarin‑Speaking Relationship Manager – Corporate Banking

About the role

This position supports the Corporate Banking Department in London, acting as the primary Mandarin‑speaking point of contact for Chinese and multinational clients. You will help the team meet its targets by delivering tailored banking solutions and managing the credit lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive support to achieve departmental objectives and meet sales targets.
• Facilitate cross‑border communication with Chinese and multinational companies.
• Advise clients, negotiate and structure products and services to meet their needs.
• Prepare and present credit proposals and analysis reports for internal approval.
• Serve as the direct point of contact for a wide range of client requests.
• Initiate and manage the full credit approval process, including head‑office approvals when required.
• Implement post‑lending management for the assigned credit portfolio.

Required profile

• Experience as a Relationship Manager in corporate banking at a major international bank.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Strong understanding of corporate financing activities and banking products.
• Ability to work with colleagues across different time zones.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

Required skills

• Fluent Mandarin language proficiency.
• Knowledge of EU syndicated loan structures.
• Credit analysis and proposal preparation.
