About the role

We are seeking an experienced Manual & CNC Cylindrical Grinder to join our well‑established workshop on the Devon coast. The position offers a flexible 4‑ or 5‑day week, early finish on Fridays and a strong focus on work‑life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Set‑up, operate and maintain manual grinding machines.
• Program and run CNC cylindrical grinding equipment.
• Inspect finished components to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Carry out routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of grinding tools.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures within the workshop.

Required profile

• Previous experience in manual or CNC grinding roles.
• Motivation to relocate to a coastal Devon location.
• Desire for a balanced lifestyle and flexible working pattern.
• Willingness to undertake further training and progress within the company.
