Manufacturing Assembly Operator

About the role

We are recruiting an experienced Manufacturing Assembly Operator for a fast‑growing production business in Blackbushe. The role involves assembling electronic and mechanical products from PCB level through to finished units, working to strict quality standards and tight deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble products from PCB level, sub‑assemblies and complete units following engineering drawings and wiring schedules.
• Operate soldering irons, crimp tools, measuring equipment and other assembly tools safely and efficiently.
• Carry out quality checks and raise non‑conformance reports or engineering change requests as needed.
• Maintain accurate production records and update internal systems.
• Support stock checks, part enquiries and collaborate with engineering, quality and stores teams to keep production flowing.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production assembly environment, preferably electronics.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and a quality‑focused approach.

Required skills

• Soldering and crimping of electronic components.
• PCB assembly and surface‑mount technology (desirable).
• Use of measuring equipment and assembly tools.
• Reading engineering drawings and wiring schedules.
