Manufacturing Assistant – Temporary Ongoing Opportunities

About the role

We are building a talent pool of Manufacturing Assistants for ongoing temporary assignments with a reputable client in Westhoughton. The role offers varied shift patterns, competitive hourly rates and the chance to gain experience across multiple production departments.

Key responsibilities

• Support production and manufacturing operations on various lines.
• Operate machinery and equipment safely, including print presses and shotblast equipment.
• Load, unload, move, store and locate stock, including racking and de‑racking.
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace, disposing of waste and performing general housekeeping.
• Assist with loading and unloading deliveries and ensure high workplace standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong work ethic with reliable attendance.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends and overtime as needed.
• Ability to work safely in a busy production setting.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Stable employment history.
