About the role
This is an off‑the‑tools Manufacturing Engineer position focused on project work for a leading aerospace and defence client. The role offers hybrid working with two days remote per week, opportunities to travel across Europe, and involvement in high‑value projects.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, schedule and coordinate engineering projects from initiation to closure.
- Liaise with internal teams, suppliers and external stakeholders to ensure alignment.
- Identify, assess and mitigate project risks.
- Monitor budgets, timelines and quality standards to ensure compliance.
- Lead project teams and drive delivery against objectives.
Required profile
- Manufacturing Engineer or similar background.
- Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering.
- Able to commute to Chester.
Required skills
- Mechanical Engineering knowledge.
- Project Management experience.
