Manufacturing Engineering Placement – 12‑Month Internship

About the role

Join Airbus’s Manufacturing Engineering team in Broughton for a 12‑month placement starting August 2026. You will support technical issue management, continuous improvement and innovation across various engineering disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily support for technical issues and drive continuous improvement projects.
• Manage jigs and tooling, introduce industrial process changes and support multi‑functional teams across variants.
• Scope and deliver improvement projects, contribute to Wing of Tomorrow development with the AMRC, and support digitalisation and sustainability initiatives.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled as an undergraduate in Engineering, a technical field or equivalent, and will remain a student for the full placement.
• Strong communication skills, team player attitude and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
• Ability to work with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools.

What we offer

• Salary of £24,246 per year (35 hours/week).
