Manufacturing Key Operative - Machine

About the role

Morrisons is recruiting a Manufacturing Key Operative - Machine for its Thrapston division at Haldens Parkway. You will work within the production team to run the production lines and deliver quality products in a safe, efficient and hygienic environment. The role is fast-paced, high-volume and demanding, and runs 38 hours per week on various shifts (6am-6pm, 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm, all including some weekends).

Key responsibilities

• Run the production line.
• Conduct system set-ups and calibrations so orders are met and compliant.
• Aim to maximise overall equipment effectiveness to reduce waste, downtime and giveaway.

Required profile

• Ideally previous experience in a production environment with machinery.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Enjoys a fast-paced environment and works well as part of a team.
• Physically active and able to stay concentrated during repetitive tasks.
• Open to working in a production environment with varying temperatures.
• Must have reached school leaving age.
