Manufacturing Manager – Electro-Mechanical Production

About the role
The Manufacturing Manager will lead all production and manufacturing activities for a new department within an award‑winning high‑technology company. Based in North Cambridge, you will be responsible for planning, supply‑chain coordination, quality performance and driving continuous improvement across the operation.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee production planning and execution for low‑volume, highly configurable electro‑mechanical products.
- Coordinate supply‑chain activities, purchasing and inventory management.
- Maintain and improve quality systems and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Own ERP/MRP system usage, data integrity and reporting.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and monitor operational performance.
Required profile
- Engineering or relevant technical degree.
- Proven experience managing a low‑volume electro‑mechanical manufacturing facility.
- Strong understanding of supply‑chain operations, purchasing and production planning.
- Demonstrated knowledge of quality systems, compliance and best‑practice manufacturing.
- Hands‑on experience with ERP/MRP ownership.
- Track record of delivering operational excellence and continuous improvement.
