Manufacturing Technical Trainer (Blow Moulding)

About the role

We are seeking a Manufacturing Technical Trainer to develop the skills, safety awareness and technical competence of our Blow Moulding team at our Bellshill site. The role combines hands‑on machine coaching with classroom sessions, supporting both new hires and existing technicians in a fast‑paced production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver practical and classroom training to new and existing Blow Mould Technicians.
• Coach colleagues on safe machine operation, start‑up and shut‑down procedures, and quality inspection checks.
• Maintain up‑to‑date training and competency records and support onboarding activities.
• Collaborate with Shift Managers to identify skill gaps and plan targeted development.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by refining training processes and supporting site‑wide initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering training or coaching in a manufacturing or technical setting.
• Strong communication skills and confidence working on the shop floor.
• Train‑the‑Trainer certification (essential).
• Experience in Blow Moulding or plastics manufacturing is advantageous.
• IOSH or L&D qualifications are a plus.
