Marine Account Executive – Retail Insurance

About the role

This is a retail‑facing, non‑Lloyd’s Marine Account Executive position managing a portfolio of UK‑based and European marine clients. You will nurture existing relationships and develop new business through referrals and face‑to‑face meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow existing marine accounts covering trade, yacht, cargo and hull risks.
• Develop new client relationships with marinas, sailing clubs, boat builders, vessel sellers and boatyards.
• Attend client meetings across UK coastlines and provide advice‑led insurance solutions.
• Collaborate with insurers and leverage digital marketing to support sales activities.
• Work towards a future leadership role as part of a succession plan.

Required profile

• Current Marine Account Executive or Commercial Account Executive with marine exposure.
• Proven ability to build long‑term client relationships and generate referrals.
• Self‑motivated, independent, and comfortable with regular face‑to‑face client visits.

Required skills

• Marine insurance expertise (hull, cargo, trade, P&I).
