Market Data & Trade Systems Analyst (AVP) – 6 Month Contract

About the role

Our client, a leading financial services organisation, is looking for a Market Data and Trade Systems Analyst (AVP) on a six‑month contract with the possibility of extension. Based in London with a hybrid working model, you will support and enhance market data platforms and trading applications used by Front Office teams across the EMEA region.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for support, maintenance and enhancements of Market Data Systems (MDS) and trading applications.
• Perform end‑to‑end troubleshooting across infrastructure, platforms and applications to ensure high availability.
• Monitor, maintain and develop MDS and trading system infrastructure, including server and application upgrades.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle: testing, release management and deployment.
• Maintain detailed incident records and engage in change‑management processes.
• Collaborate with internal IT teams, vendors and business users to deliver effective solutions.
• Support IT security, audit and compliance activities, ensuring regulatory and contractual requirements are met.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of market data platforms and trading systems used in front‑office environments.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex applications, infrastructure and network issues.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• High attention to detail in documentation and compliance.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced technical setting.
