Market Intelligence Manager – Interim (3‑month contract)

About the role

Join a world‑leading FMCG business as an interim Market Intelligence Manager. Working within a high‑performing Consumer & Market Insights team, you will turn complex data into actionable recommendations that drive commercial performance across the UK market.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse market, consumer and retailer panel data to spot trends, opportunities and threats.
• Monitor category performance, competitive activity and broader market dynamics.
• Translate findings into clear insights, recommendations and decision‑making tools for marketing, sales, e‑commerce and finance teams.
• Develop dashboards, reports and performance‑tracking frameworks.
• Support senior management with ad‑hoc analysis and business‑critical insights.
• Collaborate with data, analytics and IT teams on data‑management and automation projects.
• Maintain relationships with external market data providers and partners.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in market intelligence, market research, consumer insights or marketing analytics.
• Background in FMCG, retail, consumer goods or a market‑research agency.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to present complex findings to senior stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for data analysis.

• Competitive daily rate of £500‑£700.
