About the role
The Investment Advisor scheme aims to give candidates a comprehensive range of experience and training while supporting the branch/desk. Responsibilities will evolve, requiring adaptability and professional support for department resources.
Key responsibilities
- Adopt a proactive and independent approach, demonstrating self‑motivation and commercial awareness.
- Become an effective and willing team member.
- Learn and understand the firm’s systems and processes.
- Learn about the products and services provided to clients.
- Study and successfully complete the CISI Masters in Wealth Management within the 36‑month programme.
Required skills
- Evidence of leadership skills, possibly demonstrated through sporting achievements or responsibilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Can‑do attitude.
- Interest and understanding of the financial services sector.
- Very high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Organised and efficient.
- Strong team player.
