Marketing Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Marketing Assistant to support our award‑winning chambers in London. This is an entry‑level position ideal for someone eager to build a career in marketing and business development within the legal sector.

Key responsibilities

• Support the delivery of the chambers' marketing and business development strategy across multiple initiatives.
• Liaise with barristers, practice managers, clients and external suppliers.
• Produce CRM, business development and financial reports to aid management decisions.
• Coordinate projects such as speaking opportunities, seminars, webinars and email campaigns.
• Plan and deliver client events, handling venue sourcing, invitations and post‑event analysis.
• Assist in creating marketing materials and work with external suppliers as needed.
• Maintain the chambers' LinkedIn presence and other digital marketing activities.
• Support submissions to legal directories (e.g., Chambers & Partners, Legal 500).
• Manage CRM email campaigns, monitor engagement and generate performance reports.

Required profile

• Available to start immediately or at very short notice (by end of August 2026).
• Preferably 1 year of relevant marketing or business development experience.
• Strong writing and editing abilities.
• Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with CRM systems or email‑marketing platforms is an advantage.
