Marketing Assistant – Social Media & Content

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Marketing Assistant to join a well‑established organisation in Amersham. You will support the marketing team by creating and managing content across multiple channels, helping to build a consistent brand presence.

Key responsibilities

• Write, plan and schedule marketing and content initiatives, including social media campaigns.
• Manage the company’s social media presence, schedule posts and monitor engagement on LinkedIn, Instagram and Twitter.
• Create and execute email marketing campaigns and maintain mailing lists.
• Produce content for product reviews, customer outreach, blogs, newsletters and website updates.
• Assist with website maintenance, product data uploads and presentation preparation.
• Research market trends, competitor products and analyse data to inform strategies.
• Coordinate marketing materials and liaise with external suppliers and agencies.
• Maintain and update CRM systems and compile performance reports.

Required profile

• Entry‑level or experienced Marketing Assistant with a suitable marketing qualification.
• Tech‑savvy, highly organised and detail‑oriented.
• Enthusiastic, reliable, proactive and eager to learn.
• Passionate about marketing and design with knowledge of digital marketing.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

What we offer

• Full‑time permanent contract (Monday‑Thursday 8:00‑17:00, Friday 8:00‑12:30).
• Competitive salary £25,000 – £30,000 per year.
