Marketing Communications Executive

About the role

We are seeking a talented Marketing Communications Executive to help create and deliver compelling fundraising and marketing campaigns that inspire supporters and generate vital income for persecuted Christians worldwide. Working closely with the Head of Marketing and internal stakeholders, you will produce high‑quality content across print and digital channels while managing projects from concept through delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Create, edit and proof content for direct mail, email, web, social media, video and podcast campaigns.
• Take editorial responsibility for the supporter magazine, coordinating research, content and production.
• Support planning and execution of integrated fundraising and marketing campaigns.
• Assist in producing fundraising appeals, supporter communications and promotional materials.
• Manage the welcome journey for new donors and support donor engagement initiatives.
• Collaborate with external agencies, designers, printers and video editors to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Promote and develop the Break the Silence podcast and other digital content.
• Research and write articles for Catholic publications and relevant audiences.
• Maintain brand consistency across all marketing materials.
• Deputise for the Head of Marketing when required.

Required profile

• Organised, proactive and creative marketing professional with strong project‑management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a passion for storytelling.
• Degree in Marketing, Communications, English or a related field.
• Proven experience in a marketing, communications or fundraising role.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
