Marketing & Communications Manager – 9‑Month Fixed‑Term

About the role

Pure Resourcing Solutions is seeking a Marketing & Communications Manager on a 9‑month fixed‑term basis to lead content and communications for a life‑sciences, biotech and healthcare organisation. The role is hybrid, based in Cambridge, and starts immediately.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the creation, editing and delivery of high‑quality content across digital, print, corporate communications, PR, social media, email marketing and campaign materials.
• Develop and execute integrated marketing and communications plans that support commercial objectives and boost audience engagement.
• Manage, coach and develop two direct reports, providing day‑to‑day leadership and support.
• Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to produce compliant messaging for product launches and awareness campaigns.
• Ensure all communications and promotional materials meet regulatory, legal and compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Significant experience in marketing communications, corporate communications, content marketing, copywriting or PR.
• Outstanding writing, editing and proofreading skills across multiple channels and audiences.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life‑sciences or healthcare sectors.
• Understanding of approvals, governance and compliance processes for regulated communications.
• Previous line‑management experience with a proven ability to develop and motivate team members.
• Available to start immediately or on short notice.
