Marketing Content Writer – 9 month Fixed-Term Contract

About the role

We are looking for a Marketing Content Writer to join a well‑established financial services organisation on a nine‑month fixed‑term contract. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, you will create engaging, audience‑focused content that drives brand awareness, lead generation and business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a structured content calendar aligned with campaign and long‑term marketing goals.
• Create high‑quality content for websites, email, social media, newsletters, case studies and thought‑leadership pieces.
• Publish and distribute content to increase engagement, website traffic and lead generation.
• Conduct research, keyword analysis and performance reviews to optimise content effectiveness.
• Produce case studies and customer stories that showcase expertise and impact.
• Collaborate with marketing, design and SEO teams to deliver integrated campaigns and consistent messaging.
• Work with designers to create compelling marketing assets and campaign materials.
• Partner with SEO specialists to optimise web content for search visibility.
• Monitor content performance and use insights for future planning.
• Ensure all content complies with governance, regulatory and compliance standards.

Required profile

• Experience in content marketing, digital marketing or communications.
• Excellent writing and editing skills across multiple digital channels.
• Strong understanding of content marketing, SEO and inbound marketing principles.
• Proven ability to develop content that supports lead generation and brand awareness.
• Knowledge of social media marketing best practices.
• Experience using CRM and CMS platforms.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Confident stakeholder management and relationship‑building abilities.
• Experience in a B2B or financial services environment is advantageous.
