Marketing & Events Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a creative and organised Marketing & Events Coordinator to join a well‑established events and hospitality business in Reading. You will combine social‑media marketing, website management and event coordination to promote a busy venue and ensure every function runs smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Create engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest.
• Manage the company website and online venue listings.
• Plan and deliver marketing campaigns to promote events and venue hire.
• Support the coordination of corporate events, private functions and seasonal celebrations.
• Liaise with clients and suppliers to bring events to life.
• Produce quotes and respond to enquiries for special events.
• Assist with venue tours for prospective customers.
• Help plan and deliver the annual gift fair and other major events.
• Work closely with the wider team to ensure exceptional customer experiences.

Required profile

• Creative mindset with excellent attention to detail.
• Confidence using social media for business purposes.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Comfortable speaking with clients and building positive relationships.
• Proactive, can‑do attitude and willingness to get involved.
• Own transport is essential.
• Previous experience in marketing, events or hospitality is an advantage but not mandatory.
