About the role
Woodcote Media Ltd is seeking a commercially‑minded Marketing & Events Manager to drive the marketing strategy for its nine B2B publications and two flagship international events in Brussels and Singapore. The role combines organic social media, email campaigns, copywriting and on‑site event support, and is open to both experienced professionals and recent graduates.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute data‑driven organic marketing strategies to attract visitors, delegates and exhibitors for the Brussels and Singapore events.
- Identify and nurture strategic media partnerships with industry associations, trade bodies and global publications.
- Write, design and dispatch targeted e‑blasts and promotional email campaigns, continuously optimising open and click‑through rates.
- Manage organic social media campaigns on LinkedIn and X, creating copy, visual assets and scheduling posts.
- Oversee website content updates, registration funnels and marketing collateral such as sales brochures and guides.
- Provide hands‑on on‑site support during events, including live social media coverage and delegate registration.
- Lead marketing initiatives across nine publication titles to boost readership, subscriber acquisition and digital traffic.
- Collaborate with sales and editorial teams to clean, segment and expand subscriber and attendee databases.
Required profile
- Background in B2B marketing, publishing or event marketing, or equivalent academic experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with a flair for compelling copy.
- Strong organisational ability to manage multiple publications and international events simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset to evaluate email performance, database health and campaign engagement.
- Willingness to travel internationally for on‑site event support.
- Minimum A‑level education, preferably a university degree.
Required skills
- Organic social media management, especially on LinkedIn.
- Experience with X (formerly Twitter) for professional outreach.
- Proficiency with email marketing tools for campaign creation and analysis.
What we offer
- Salary range £26,000 – £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
- Discretionary bonus linked to event performance.
- Hybrid working arrangement, with on‑site presence required during key event periods.
