Marketing Events Specialist

About the role

The Marketing Events Specialist will own and deliver the full events programme for the education sector across UK State, Independent and International school markets. Working remotely, you will coordinate in‑person conferences, trade shows, roundtables and digital webinars, ensuring each event aligns with demand‑generation campaigns and drives pipeline growth.

Key responsibilities

• Own the annual events calendar for UK State and International markets.
• Manage end‑to‑end logistics: venue sourcing, contracts, AV, catering, travel, signage, merchandise and on‑site delivery.
• Plan and execute in‑person events such as trade shows, exhibitions, customer conferences and roundtables.
• Oversee virtual and hybrid event delivery, collaborating closely with Demand Generation Specialists.
• Maintain event budgets, track spend and report on ROI.
• Build and manage detailed timelines and project plans, ensuring stakeholder deadlines are met.
• Coordinate with external agencies for graphic design, marketing collateral and merchandise procurement.
• Plan and deliver international events, handling multiple time zones, local audience requirements and relationships with global venue partners.

Required profile

• Comfortable managing several events simultaneously at different planning stages.
• Commercial focus and strong organisational rigour to keep programmes on track across distinct market segments.
• Excellent coordination skills with internal demand‑generation teams and external partners.
