Marketing Executive - Events

About the role

The Events Marketing Executive drives lead generation and executes marketing strategies to position learning programmes for legal and compliance professionals. The role involves managing digital campaigns, crafting messaging, coordinating with subject matter experts and analysing performance data.

Key responsibilities

• Email marketing: proofing, building templates, segmentation, A/B testing and campaign execution.
• Social media marketing: paid campaigns, testing strategies, lead tracking and posting across event stages.
• Website and event platform management: building sites, using Swoogo for bespoke event solutions.
• Mentoring: training marketing assistants on platforms and activities.
• Data requests and campaign creation in Pardot.
• Product knowledge: becoming an event marketing specialist, audience composition analysis.
• Marketing plans: building from templates, testing strategies and cross‑promotion.
• Audience management: monitoring, flagging under‑performing events and crisis management.
• Reporting and analytics: tracking feedback, registration trends, ROI and revenue targets.
• Partnerships and event attendance: sourcing supporting organisations, coordinating interviews and on‑day operations.

Required profile

• Proficiency in email marketing platforms (e.g., Pardot, Mailchimp), CMS tools and social media ad managers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Collaborative and adaptable approach; experience in eLearning, education or digital events is a plus.
