Marketing Executive – Hybrid, London

About the role

The Marketing Executive will join the Caribbean team at Springer Nature, supporting the Marketing Manager in planning and delivering a range of campaigns and activities. This fixed‑term maternity cover role is based in London and operates on a hybrid working model, offering a blend of office and remote work. The position is ideal for a self‑starter with a passion for education and solid marketing experience.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Marketing Manager in planning and delivering annual marketing campaigns and activities for the Caribbean team.
• Create, schedule and optimise content for email newsletters, social media channels, websites and blogs.
• Produce and distribute digital and printed marketing assets such as catalogues, promotional materials and e‑samples.
• Coordinate competitions, promotional initiatives and customer engagement programmes.
• Plan and deliver professional development events including webinars, workshops and teacher‑training sessions.
• Maintain relationships with authors, agents, booksellers, sales teams and internal stakeholders.
• Assist with the organisation of key events such as the Caribbean sales conference, book fairs and sponsored activities, including travel to target markets.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform future strategies.

Required profile

• Self‑starter with a genuine interest in education and publishing.
• Proven marketing experience, preferably in a B2B or educational context.
• Strong written communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple internal and external partners.
• Willingness to travel as needed for workshops, conferences and events.
• Ability to work independently within a hybrid office environment.
