Marketing Manager – Digital & AI Focus

About the role

Our client near Saffron Walden is seeking a commercially‑minded Marketing Manager to lead a small, dynamic marketing team. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will shape senior commercial decisions and own the digital and content strategy for both retail and trade markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy.
• Manage the company’s WooCommerce/WordPress site, SEO, paid‑search and social‑media campaigns.
• Lead content creation, including case studies, guides and market‑focused assets.
• Implement and evaluate AI tools to improve campaign efficiency and track performance.
• Provide strategic insights to senior leadership and support commercial decision‑making.
• Maintain a fully office‑based presence and coordinate with internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Experience in the manufacturing sector, preferably within a small‑to‑medium sized firm.
• Comfortable working in a compact organisation and able to make the role your own.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to influence senior decisions.
• Own reliable transport for office attendance.
