Marketing Manager – Direct-to-Consumer eCommerce

About the role

Join a well‑established lighting brand as Marketing Manager, leading the launch of its new Direct‑to‑Consumer eCommerce website while supporting existing B2B operations. Based in Manchester, you will sit on the Senior Management Team, own the end‑to‑end marketing strategy and influence the company’s expansion into new markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the launch and optimisation of the new D2C eCommerce site, shaping UX, navigation and customer journey.
• Own the annual catalogue strategy, producing the main catalogue and managing UK and international variations.
• Use analytics and customer data to continuously improve site traffic, conversion rates and oversee CRM, email and digital platform integration.
• Manage the marketing, graphics and photography team to ensure consistent, premium brand content across website, catalogue and social channels.
• Define the wider marketing strategy and budget, and lead participation in UK and international trade shows and exhibitions.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering or managing a D2C eCommerce website from concept to launch.
• Experience producing large‑scale catalogues or comparable print/brand collateral.
• Ability to work hands‑on with developers, IT teams and external agencies.
• Strong eye for website aesthetics, UX and brand presentation.
• Solid understanding of digital channels (SEO, email, paid social) and data‑driven decision making.
• Experience leading a team and managing a marketing budget.
• Background in interiors, homeware or lighting is a plus.
