Marketing Officer – Renewable Energy

About the role

Join the Communications team at the heart of Scotland's renewable energy sector as a Marketing Officer. Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Digital, you will help design and deliver engaging campaigns that promote events, raise the profile of Scottish Renewables, and support the growth of renewable energy in Scotland.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute marketing campaigns across digital channels, with a focus on event promotion.
• Manage website content, schedule social media posts, and produce email newsletters.
• Create engaging digital assets and copy for campaigns and promotional material.
• Monitor performance against marketing KPIs and produce regular reports.
• Collaborate with communications, events, membership and policy teams to identify and share relevant stories and achievements.

Required profile

• Creative, organised marketing professional comfortable handling multiple projects.
• Strong written communication, copy‑writing and proofreading abilities.
• Experience in marketing, communications, events or a similar role.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to track campaign performance.
• Proactive attitude and keen attention to detail.

Required skills

• Canva (or similar graphic‑design platform).
• Adobe Express for video editing.
