Marketing Operations Executive – Events

About the role

Join a fast‑growing media events business as a Marketing Operations Executive focused on events. You will develop B2B direct‑marketing skills across email, social media, partnerships, digital advertising, SEO and more, while also supporting the logistical side of global finance and trade events.

Key responsibilities

• Provide general support for day‑to‑day activities within the marketing, editorial/publishing and sales teams.
• Maintain and organise templates for social‑media assets and work with designers to improve them.
• Manage and innovate the social‑media strategy, staying ahead of trends.
• Execute marketing campaigns promoting reports, webinars, events and partnerships across digital and offline channels.
• Ensure branding and messaging consistency across all marketing materials, events and communications.
• Compile and send weekly newsletters via LinkedIn and HubSpot, and manage paid LinkedIn campaigns.
• Assist with logistical planning for global events as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related field (master’s degree a plus).
• Previous experience in marketing, communications and events management, preferably within financial services, B2B or professional services.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, social‑media strategy and content development.
• Comfortable using Canva and other basic design tools, able to create simple visuals and brief designers.
