Masker / Operator Inspector – Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Masker / Operator Inspector to join our manufacturing team in Gloucester. The role involves preparing components for painting, applying masking tape with precision, and ensuring quality through inspection and surface preparation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare manufactured components for the painting process.
• Apply masking tape to components accurately.
• Load, unload and handle components manually.
• Inspect components using alignment gauges.
• Perform hand‑filing and surface preparation as required.
• Clean components before final inspection.
• Maintain high quality standards throughout production.

Required profile

• Previous experience in preparation and polishing within a manufacturing setting.
• Good knowledge of masking, sanding, priming and polishing techniques (advantageous).
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality work.
• Reliable, proactive and flexible team player.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality standards.

What we offer

• £13.47 per hour.
• Day shift – 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday‑Thursday.
• Three‑day weekend each week.
