Master Scheduler – Production Planning

About the role

The Master Scheduler will lead master production scheduling activities for Baker Hughes' Subsea Production Systems team in South West England. You will coordinate material flow, manage production plans and ensure timely delivery of both manufactured and purchased components.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and expedite material flow from suppliers and internal departments according to production schedules.
• Prepare, update and maintain master production schedules and purchasing requirements.
• Drive the S&OP process, including workload and capacity analysis.
• Manage production slot plans and dates for manufactured components and bought‑out finish items.
• Own the planning process end‑to‑end, ensuring executable plans are handed over to execution teams.
• Redefine processes and procedures regularly, interacting with engineering, planning and maintenance functions.
• Choose appropriate manufacturing techniques and approaches to meet schedule demands.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
• Proven experience in materials planning within an electro‑mechanical environment.
• Strong ownership mindset, willing to innovate and lead by example.
