Master Technician – Automotive Service

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Master Technician to join our Kia Doncaster service team. You will work autonomously in a busy workshop, delivering high‑quality vehicle maintenance and repairs while upholding our family‑focused values.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of Kia and other vehicle models.
• Perform MOT testing and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Maintain workshop safety standards and operate diagnostic equipment safely.
• Provide technical guidance to junior staff and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Deliver excellent customer service by communicating work scope and recommendations clearly.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of technician experience, preferably in a franchised dealer environment.
• Master Technician experience is highly desirable.
• Strong initiative and confidence working independently.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and ambition to become a top performer.

Required skills

• MOT testing experience.
• Level 3 City & Guilds motor vehicle qualification (or equivalent).
• NVQ Level 3 automotive training.
• Proficiency with workshop diagnostic equipment.
