Matchday Marketing Manager

About the role

Based in Manchester, the Matchday Marketing Manager will design and deliver integrated campaigns that boost attendance, fan engagement and commercial performance for football fixtures, concerts and major stadium events. The role sits within the Matchday and Major Stadium Events team at City Football Group and works closely with multiple internal partners to ensure a seamless, compelling experience for fans. You will coordinate activities across tickets, hospitality, memberships, experiences and food & beverage.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver integrated marketing campaigns for matchdays, concerts and major events.
• Translate audience insights and campaign priorities into multi‑channel activities across digital, CRM, social, web and paid media.
• Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within budget and aligned with brand standards and operational requirements.
• Collaborate with CRM, Content, Social Media, Digital, Data & Insights, Commercial, Product, Operations, Activations and external partners.
• Monitor performance, analyse results and use insights to optimise future campaigns.
• Support marketing for tickets, premium hospitality, memberships, matchday experiences, food & beverage and related activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering marketing campaigns in sport, entertainment, hospitality or live‑event environments.
• Experience coordinating integrated campaigns across digital and offline channels with knowledge of CRM, social, web or paid‑media touchpoints.
• Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously and work collaboratively across diverse teams.
• Strong analytical mindset to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.
