About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking a Mathematics Teacher for a Good Ofsted secondary school in Havering, East London. The role primarily covers Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 teaching, with occasional 6th‑form responsibilities.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging mathematics lessons for KS3 and KS4.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Prepare teaching resources and adapt materials to meet diverse learning needs.
- Participate in CPD sessions throughout the academic year.
- Attend parent evenings and contribute to departmental meetings.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Minimum UK experience teaching mathematics.
- Up‑to‑date safeguarding training completed within the last year.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS certificate (online update service) or willingness to obtain one.
- Two professional references covering the last two years.
