About the role
Prospero Teaching is recruiting a Mathematics Teacher for an Ofsted Good secondary school in Waltham Forest, East London. The role is full‑time, covering Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with occasional 6th‑form support and regular parent evenings.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess mathematics lessons for KS3 and KS4.
- Maintain accurate pupil records and produce progress reports.
- Participate in staff meetings, CPD sessions and school‑wide initiatives.
- Attend parent evenings and contribute to the 6th‑form timetable as needed.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Minimum UK experience teaching mathematics at secondary level.
- Up‑to‑date safeguarding training completed within the last year.
- Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS with online update service.
- Two professional references covering the last two years.
