About the role
Reed Education is supporting a reputable secondary school in Leeds to recruit a Mathematics Teacher for September 2026. The successful candidate will join a vibrant teaching team, delivering engaging lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 pupils.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high‑quality Mathematics lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Create an inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and participation.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities such as maths clubs and enrichment programmes.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and school initiatives.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Mathematics or a related discipline.
- Proven experience teaching Mathematics at secondary level.
- Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
- Commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare.
