About the role
Randstad Education is partnering with a OFSTED ‘GOOD’ rated secondary school in Liverpool to recruit a passionate Mathematics Teacher for the upcoming academic year. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons to students of varying abilities and help them achieve their full potential.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver dynamic mathematics lessons across the secondary curriculum.
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies to support all learners.
- Maintain a positive, proactive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, teaching assistants and support staff.
- Contribute to departmental meetings and school-wide initiatives.
Required profile
- Relevant undergraduate degree.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
- Genuine enthusiasm for mathematics and student development.
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
Required skills
- Curriculum knowledge for secondary mathematics.
- Lesson planning and assessment techniques.
