About the role

We are seeking a passionate Maths and English Lecturer to join a leading further education college in Leeds. The role involves delivering high‑quality teaching, supporting learner progress and contributing to a vibrant academic community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in English or Maths to further education learners.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance processes.
• Support student recruitment, guidance, and progression.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards across the department.

Required profile

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in English or Maths.
• A recognised teaching qualification.
• Proven experience delivering high‑quality teaching and learning.
• Learner‑focused approach with excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Experience managing a team and driving high standards is desirable.
