Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant – West London

About the role

We are looking for a recent Maths graduate to join a high‑performing secondary school in West London as a Teaching Assistant. This full‑time, long‑term position starts in September and offers hands‑on classroom experience across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Key responsibilities

• Support Maths lessons for KS3 and KS4 students.
• Deliver one‑to‑one and small‑group intervention sessions.
• Assist pupils with classwork, homework and exam preparation.
• Collaborate with experienced Maths teachers to raise attainment.
• Help create an inclusive, engaging learning environment.
• Support classroom management and student behaviour when needed.

Required profile

• A degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject.
• Genuine passion for education and supporting young people.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong numeracy and problem‑solving abilities.
• Positive, proactive and patient attitude.
• Previous experience with young people is desirable but not essential.
