About the role

This full‑time Maths Intervention Graduate position starts in September 2026 at a vibrant school in Salford. The role supports learners who are struggling with maths through small‑group and one‑to‑one intervention, mentoring and classroom assistance. It is offered on a temporary‑to‑permanent basis.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver small‑group and 1:1 maths intervention and mentoring outside the classroom.
• Support learners during maths lessons and help reinforce key concepts.
• Contribute to a calm, positive learning environment and uphold the school’s high standards.
• Assist with inclusion of SEND and SEMH students as required.

Required profile

• A‑Level maths or equivalent (higher qualifications welcome).
• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
• Two professional child‑related references.
• Up‑to‑date safeguarding training (or willingness to complete training).
