Maths Lecturer – Full‑Time & Part‑Time (September start)

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic Maths Lecturers to start in September, available on both full‑time and part‑time contracts. You will join a supportive department in Cheshire, delivering GCSE Mathematics and, where appropriate, Functional Skills and Core Maths to learners in further education.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging GCSE Mathematics lessons.
• Provide Functional Skills and Core Maths instruction as required.
• Assess student work, give constructive feedback and track progress.
• Offer pastoral and academic support to help learners achieve their goals.
• Develop and maintain teaching resources and curriculum materials.
• Contribute to quality improvement and curriculum development initiatives.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learner experience.

Required profile

• Degree or relevant professional qualification.
• Level 2 English and Maths (or equivalent).
• Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
• Experience teaching in further education or a similar setting.
• Strong commitment to learner success and CPD.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
