Maths SEN Teacher – Key Stage 3‑4 (West London)

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Maths SEN Teacher to join a specialist provision in Ealing, West London. You will work with Key Stage 3‑4 students who have a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, delivering engaging and differentiated maths lessons.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver creative, differentiated maths lessons tailored to individual student needs.
• Support learners with SEND, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, dyslexia and moderate learning difficulties.
• Adapt teaching strategies and resources to ensure accessibility and engagement.
• Develop and implement individual learning plans and monitor progress against EHCP targets.
• Provide regular feedback to parents, staff and external professionals.
• Maintain a positive, structured, inclusive classroom environment and use behaviour management strategies.
• Collaborate with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, therapists and external agencies.
• Prepare students for functional skills, GCSE or other assessments where appropriate.
• Uphold safeguarding and wellbeing policies at all times.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching maths in SEN or inclusive settings.
• Strong understanding of differentiated teaching and SEND strategies.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
