Maths Teacher – Full-Time Long-Term Opportunity

About the role

Reed Education is recruiting a qualified Maths Teacher for a Good‑rated secondary school in Cambridgeshire, starting September 2026. This full‑time, long‑term placement offers the chance to deliver engaging mathematics lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching Key Stage 5 depending on experience.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high‑quality mathematics lessons across KS3 and KS4 (potentially KS5).
• Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor, assess and track student progress effectively.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all pupils.
• Foster confidence and enjoyment in mathematics.
• Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching mathematics in a secondary school setting.
• Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management.
• Passion for raising attainment and inspiring students.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
