About the role
This full‑time position starts in September and is designed for an enthusiastic Mathematics specialist. You will teach Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering a knowledge‑rich curriculum that builds analytical reasoning and fluency.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons for KS3 and KS4 pupils.
- Motivate students of diverse backgrounds and raise academic standards.
- Promote critical problem‑solving and confidence ahead of GCSE exams.
- Collaborate with a forward‑thinking STEM team within a unified department.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS or equivalent UK teaching credential.
- Enhanced DBS check registered with the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Up‑to‑date knowledge of current educational frameworks and GCSE specifications (Pearson Edexcel, AQA).
- Legal right to work full‑time in the United Kingdom.
Required skills
- Expertise in the UK National Curriculum for Mathematics.
- Familiarity with Pearson Edexcel and AQA examination specifications.
