Maths Teacher – Full‑time, Long‑term (Potential Permanent)

About the role

Reed Education is partnering with a thriving secondary school in North Cambridgeshire to recruit an enthusiastic Maths Teacher. The role starts in September 2026, runs full‑time until December 2026, and may become a permanent position from January 2027 for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Contribute to the mathematics department’s collaborative planning and professional development.
• Maintain high standards of classroom management and student behaviour.
• Support the school’s inclusive ethos and promote positive outcomes for all learners.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred, or equivalent secondary maths teaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of the UK Mathematics curriculum.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
• Passion for raising attainment and inspiring young people.
